This debut album of siblings Mari and Hakon Samuelsen features the world premiere recording of "Pas De Deux", the new concerto by Academy Award-winning film composer James Horner (Titanic, Avatar). Horner's first work for the concert hall in over 30 years, "Pas De Deux" is a romantic "luxuriant pastorale...slow moving and hypnotic" (Liverpool Echo) and was written especially for the Norwegian violin and cello duo. The album also featuring minimalistic orchestral works by Pärt, Sollima and Einaudi.
