"Grit" is the third album by Norwegian Prog Rock band Madrugada. The band took once again a different approach to their previous release "The Nightly Disease" featuring a much rawer and at times more experimental sound with Krautrock and Garage Rock influences taking turns. Grit starts off with a considerable swagger on two grimy Rock numbers: "Blood Shot Adult Commitment" and lead-off single "Ready". Augmented by traditional Americana-tinged minor key ballads that Madrugada are famous for, this is their most varied oftheir studio albums thus far!
